I'M LINDSAY WHEELOCK

Lindsay Wheelock was born and raised in Indiana. Although she isn't a stranger to driving something with some power (growing up around ATV's, snowmobiles, and cars), she was feeling a bit out of place when she made her very first pass down a drag strip in 2020. Since then, she has fallen in love with drag racing and has committed much of her social media to sharing the wild rollercoaster of learning the ropes with her three young kids and husband alongside her.

She won her first event at NMCA's event in Bradenton, FL in 2020 racing a 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon. She also attended Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School to obtain her NHRA license to compete in the NHRA's Factory Stock Showdown where she switches between racing two cars, the Mike Alsop Chevrolet-Buick COPO Camaro or the Mike Alsop Racing Dodge Challenger Dragpak.

We are thankful that you've landed here and hope you take a minute to browse the website where you'll find discount codes for products she uses, her branded merchandise, links to her social media channels, and links to articles on her biography.

Have a blessed day!

In the news

Most drivers in drag racing work their way up to faster, more competitive classes as they go. They get more money, invest more time, increase their horsepower and work their way up into that power and speed. Not Lindsay Wheelock. She went from driving a minivan to driving a COPO Camaro that runs 8.12 at 165 mph almost overnight.

The appearance of Lindsay Wheelock on Instagram on February 20, 2020 might not have been on your radar – but it sure the heck shoulda been. Lindsay has a job outside the home and is mom to three little ones, wife to drag racer Dustin, and, oh yeah, the pilot of one of the Mike Alsop Racing Chevrolet COPO Camaros that you might have seen in the 2020 NHRA SAMTech.edu Factory Stock Showdown.

Lindsay and Dustin Wheelock joined the NMCA a few years ago by diving into the deep end with their Mike Alsop Racing COPO Camaro and the Holley EFI Factory Super Cars class. In 2022, the team’s long-awaited Dodge/Mopar Challenger Drag Pak arrived and they have steadily been working on making that car run its best with help from PTP Racing’s Jason Lee and Patrick Barnhill. Now, they plan to venture into the radial realm with Lindsay getting behind the wheel of Jason Lee’s Mustang for NMCA Edelbrock Xtreme Street.

Anyone looking closely when the Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown competitors are pulling up into the staging lanes at an NHRA race will see that Lindsay Wheelock isn’t alone in her Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
